The National Testing has concluded the last day morning shift of JEE Main 2020 September exam. The first reactions are out as students walk out of the exam centre. Students felt that the overall level of today’s JEE Main question paper was moderate. As usual, the Chemistry section remained the easiest while Mathematics and Physics sections were difficult. After conducting the evening slot today, NTA is expected to publish the official answer keys after September 7, tentatively. Meanwhile, JEE aspirants shall refer to unofficial answer keys released by major coaching centres from tomorrow onward. Through the JEE Main 2020 answer key, they can predict their overall score.
JEE Main 2020: Today’s Exam Analysis, 6th September – Shift 1
– The difficulty level of Numerical problems in Physics section was a bit high.
– Maths section was a bit hard as compared to other sections.
– Numerical problems in the Physics section were time-consuming.
– Many questions were similar to the questions given in NCERT. Textbooks & NCERT Exemplar of Class 11 & Class 12.
– As usual, most of the questions in the Chemistry section were conceptual.
– Overall easy to moderate questions were asked in Physics, Chemistry & Maths section.

This analysis is based on students’ initial response. The Mathematics section had lengthy questions with more scope for calculations. On the other hand, the Physics section had tricky questions. Surprisingly, there were some similar questions from National Abhyas App. In Physics, there were more numerical questions from Class 11th syllabus and theory-based questions from Class 12th syllabus.
