Students felt that the questions were tricky and analytical in nature. The general feeling is that the cutoff may go higher than last year. It may be remembered that while NEET-UG cutoff for MBBS was as given, the BDS cutoff was lowered by NTA at a later stage.
Biology is considered a high scoring subject by the medical aspirants. According to NEET 2019 analysis, the Biology section was of moderate difficulty level with most of the questions based on the NCERT syllabus. To ace this section, along with a strong conceptual understanding, the intense practice of diagram based questions is a must.
The review petition urges the Supreme court to reconsider its order. It further adds that in a situation when classroom teaching has been suspended, conducting such a large scale exam shows ‘non application of mind’. A total of 6 petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court. This comes as the political parties joined the students in urging for the examinations to be postponed.
